Saadian Tombs
A Hidden Royal Necropolis

Saadian Tombs

Hidden for centuries behind the walls of the Kasbah Mosque, the Saadian Tombs are among Marrakech’s most fascinating discoveries. They were rediscovered in 1917, perfectly preserved, and today stand as one of the city’s most visited monuments.

🏛️ Royal Resting Place

Built in the late 16th century by Sultan Ahmed al-Mansour, the tombs house over 100 members of the Saadian dynasty.

The highlight is the Hall of the Twelve Columns, a breathtaking mausoleum with Italian marble, intricate stucco, and a cedarwood ceiling decorated in gold leaf.
